Warranty Policy

At Sophisticated Time Piece, we stand behind the quality and authenticity of every timepiece we sell. Please review our warranty terms carefully.

1. Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage varies depending on the brand and product purchased.

  • Some watches may include a valid manufacturer’s warranty, if explicitly stated on the product page.
  • Where a manufacturer’s warranty is not provided, Sophisticated Time Piece may provide a limited store warranty.

2. Store Warranty (If Applicable)

Unless otherwise stated, eligible watches include a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

  • Warranty period: 12 months from the date of delivery.
  • Coverage applies to the movement and internal mechanism only.

3. What Is Covered

  • Mechanical malfunction of the movement
  • Manufacturing defects under normal use conditions

4. What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Scratches to case, bracelet, strap, or crystal
  • Battery replacement (unless defective at delivery)
  • Water damage beyond the stated water resistance rating
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Loss or theft

5. Water Resistance Disclaimer

Water resistance ratings are based on manufacturer guidelines. We do not guarantee water resistance under all conditions. Damage caused by water exposure is not covered unless due to a verified manufacturing defect.

6. Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  • Email info@sophisticatedtimepiece.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
  • Include clear photos or videos showing the defect, if applicable.
  • Wait for written authorization before sending the item.

Customers are responsible for securely packaging and shipping the item for inspection unless otherwise instructed.

7. Inspection & Resolution

All warranty claims are subject to inspection. If approved, we may:

  • Repair the watch, or
  • Replace the watch (subject to availability), or
  • Issue store credit at our discretion.

Warranty decisions are made solely at our discretion after evaluation.

8. Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

  • Customers are responsible for shipping the watch to us for inspection.
  • If the defect is covered under warranty, we may cover return shipping within the United States.
  • International customers are responsible for all shipping and customs charges.

9. Voided Warranty

The warranty will be void if:

  • The watch has been opened or repaired by an unauthorized third party.
  • The serial number has been removed or altered.
  • The watch shows signs of misuse or intentional damage.

10. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the watch as described above. Sophisticated Time Piece shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
